Flights in Northern Europe continue to be affected by the massive amounts of ash surging into the atmosphere at all levels. The image above shows the general directional flow of the ash the past few days. The jet stream is suppose to change direction over the next few days, giving some relief, but people trying to get into Boston for the marathon may not get here at all. Strange situation!
