A nice little storm we had overnight into today. It really picked up some steam as it passed just south of us, bringing some strong winds and heavy rainfall. Areas on Cape Cod picked up anywhere between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain, while Boston picked up just over 1.5 inches. This was our biggest rainfall total since our historic March washout!
You will all like what is ahead. Our storm is slowly moving away from us as we speak and despite some early morning clouds tomorrow, they quickly give way to a sun that wants to really warm us up and some dry winds from the west that want to give us a beautiful day. Both will succeed. Temps should sore into the upper 70's to low 80's, with the possibility of a shower popping up further north. Those of you running the race on the Charles tomorrow night will have excellent running weather!
It only gets better from there. Friday is another gorgeous day, with a more potent sea breeze. The weekend looks nice as well and there are signs we will really jump up in the temperature department next week. 90's not out of the question!
